Scripture: Romans 4:1-8

This week as we continue in Romans, Paul once again addresses one of our misconceptions of salvation. He asserts that it is not by works that we are saved, and uses Abraham as an example that his intended audience would know well. Please take time to read and meditate on these scriptures before coming to e:ncounter this Sunday morning.

Questions to ponder:
Do we believe that we have somehow earned our salvation?
Do we feel superior to others because of our "holy" lives?
