Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ- August 27, 2006

Scripture: Romans 6:1-11

This Sunday we will study the beginning of the sixth chapter of Romans. This is a key text for our stance on holiness living. Paul gets to the root of the issue with the question "We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" Please take time to read and meditate on these scriptures before coming to e:ncounter this Sunday morning.

Questions to ponder:
What does it mean to be dead to sin?
What part of our old self was crucified with Christ?
Are there any parts of our lives today we still need to crucify?
What does it mean to be alive in Christ and to live for God?
