Scripture: Romans 1:18-23
This Sunday we will be looking at the other side of the Gospel. In order for us to truly understand why the gospel is "good news", we must understand where we would be without it. Please take time to read and meditate on these verses before you come to e:ncounter Sunday.
Questions to ponder:
What does God's wrath look like in our world today?
Do our lives "suppress the truth" or bring glory to Him?
Do we see God's eternal power & divine nature in what He has created?
Lectionary Scriptures for the 5th Sunday of Lent
Jeremiah 31:31-34
Psalm 51:5-12

Making Peace With God - March 26, 2006
Scripture: Romans 1:16-17
This Sunday we will be investigating what Paul meant as he wrote these verses to the church in Rome and how they apply to our lives today. Please take time to read and meditate on these verses before you come to e:ncounter Sunday.
Questions to ponder:
What did Paul mean by the word "salvation"?
To whom, and in what context was this written?
How can I apply this to my life today?
Lectionary Scriptures for the 4th Sunday of Lent
Numbers 21:4-9
Psalm 107:1-3, 17-22
Ephesians 2:1-10
John 3:14-21

NEW TIME FOR E:NCOUNTER
Beginning March 26, e:ncounter will be taking place at 11:00 a.m. in the main sanctuary at Trinity Church of the Nazarene. We are very excited about the opportunities for ministry and outreach this will provide. If you haven't been to e:ncounter before, we would love to have you join us some Sunday. If you are a regular attender, I ask that you please pray for this service, that it will be an effective tool God can use to advance His Kingdom. We would also ask that you ask God how He would like you to be involved in this ministry.
