This Sunday we will take a break from our study of Romans and look more closely at one of the lectionary scriptures for today. These verses tell the story of Jesus and the disciples in a boat when a storm came upon them. We will look at the disciples reaction as well as that of Jesus. Do we feel superior to others because of our "holy" lives?

Although Paul had everything to take pride in concerning his religious status, he makes it clear that pride is not part of the Christian life.
